Steve is a consultant to local, Metro and the National media. He has been an investigative, safety, crime prevention and self defense consultant to Inside edition the Nation’s top-rated syndicated newsmagazine, the Nationally syndicated Fox News Morning show, WOR-TV, CBS, NBC, Fox network, Men’s Journal, Sports Illustrated, News 12 and he has consulted too or appeared in local, regional and National publications including the NY Post, NY Times, USA Today and Best Life Magazine, the Journal news and the Westchester Wag regarding safety issues, crime prevention and self-defense.  The National media has sought Steve for commentary and advice on some of the nations most notorious crimes including the horrific events that occurred at Virginia Tech!
Steve is available to the media as a safety and self defense expert and has consulted to the National media on crimes including murder, kidnapping, rape, robbery, home invasion, College campus stalking, burglary, assault, Senior citizen safety and Women’s safety.

Investigative reporting: Steve worked with eight-time Emmy Award-winner and an Alfred I Dupont Award recipient Matt Meagher of Inside Edition to conduct a lures program never done before in the United States. Steve, Matt and the investigative team for Inside Edition went onto a New York Metro area College campus and conducted a lures program in which Steve attempted to lure himself into the cars of female students leaving the College campus. Once inside the car he allowed the student to drive away and then the potential victim was made aware of the lure and interviewed by Matt. Steve’s extensive knowledge of how the predator operates offered him the opportunity to approached 8 Women leaving the campus and all 8 allowed him into their car and drove off with him. The same occurred with an investigative report that was conducted with Award-winning broadcaster Ralph Penza a senior correspondent and back-up anchor for News Channel 4. Again an investigative report that included Steve going out into the field and attempting to lure Women in shopping mall parking lots to lure them from the front of the store to a secluded area of the parking area and have the Women reach/ lean into his car and avail themselves to being kidnapped and sexually assaulted. Again 8 out of the 8 Women that Steve approached fell for the lure.
